Look closely and examine the interaction between the Ibis white Audi R8 and Chrysler 300 limousine pictured here, just where the mid town tunnels spills out into Manhattan. The best part is the dude in the limo, smiling for the camera as he passes off the bottle of bub to the people in the R8. Apparently bridge and tunnel people like to party.

Flagler Drive Waterfront was packed with precious metal last weekend for Supercar Experience Palm Beach, also known as Supercar Weekend. The event series, which also includes tour stops in other well-to-do locations like New Orleans and The Hamptons, is a unique experience to say the least. After all, where on earth can you see this much horsepower, hand crafted coachwork and radar-touting cops in one place at one time. You can thank Florida-based sharp shooter and Man on the Move guest photographer Blake Simon for the exotic car porn to ensue after the jump.

Audi is sick and tired of people viewing them as Germany’s number 3 luxury brand and the thoroughly exotic R8 is evidence. The hand assembled, mid engine super coupe from Audi’s high performance quattro GmbH subsidiary is the brand’s unabashed halo model, creating excitement and shining the design spotlight on less costly lookers like the new-for-2008 A4 and and the dashingly handsome A5. We caught this NJ-based example, cloaked in Ice Silver Metallic with Apollo Silver slingblade, parked outside Dos Caminos on Park for late night empanadas.

For 2009, Lamborghini revised their best-selling Gallardo with, among other things, a restyled front/rear end and more power. It is still razor sharp and thoroughly exotic. bella!
It’s not often that you get to pull the cover off a Lamborghini during the winter months in NYC. But, thanks to the sunny, unusually mild weather pictured here, the owner of this gen 1 coupe was able to cruise the streets in style. We caught him checking out the similarly colored (yellow/black) Kawasaki KZ400 (1974-1984) across the street.
