The 356, of which there were 3 generations (A,B,C), was the car that put Porsche on the map. It was also the precursor to the iconic 911-series that we have all come to know and love over the last half century. Unless the good doctor has applied fake badges to this example, which would be totally lame, it is a 356C (1963-65/66) with the 95HP “SC” engine option. That may not sound like many ponies, but that VW Beetle-derived 4-cylinder was the most powerful pushrod engine Porsche had ever produced. While you won’t win many drag races, this drop top will make sunny Sundays very enjoyable.
