Darth Vader’s Chevy SSR – Kent Street, Williamsburg

The dark side is strong with this one. Black paint, matte black fenders, black wheels, black lamp lenses, black grille. Hell, even the Chevy symbol on the tailgate is blacked out. I might be jumping to conclusions here, but the owner is probably not the warm and cuddly type.

Chevy Nova and Ford Falcon Van – Fillmore Place, Brooklyn

Spotting one classic is good but capturing two in the same frame is even better. That’s just what happened while strolling Fillmore Place, a one-street historical district in Williamsburg that Henry Miller described as “the most enchanting street I have ever seen in all my life” in his 1938 semi-autobiographical novel “Tropic of Capricorn”.
