Lancia Beta Coupé 1800 - West 23rd Street, NYC

The Beta, a handsome representation of new beginnings for Lancia after it had been taken over by Fiat in 1969. However aged this tailored coupe [debuted in ’73] might be today, the naming taxonomy could not be more timely considering the wave of digital entrepreneurs betting big on beta applications, social networks and other cutting edge technology. It’s all about that proof of concept to show the world, and investors, that “it works.” In this case, charming design and spirited drive dynamics were all the proof enthusiasts needed to gobble up more than 100,000 units during the 10+ years Beta was on the market.
