Sights & Sounds: The Simeone Museum – Philly, PA

Pictured Above: A 1967 Ford MK IV exactly like the one Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt used to conquer Le Mans.

Most people collect stuff. Bottle caps, comic books, watches…maybe a nice stamp collection. Fred Simeone, a retired neurosurgeon and life long gear head, collects world class automobiles. Cars with pedigree so impressive that it’s hard to fathom how any single individual could possibly horde so much 4-wheeled history in one place at one time. His collection is so good that he opened a museum to give the vehicles justice and share their magnificence with the world.

Feast on his beautiful floc after the jump…
