Range Rover Classic – East Hampton, NYC

March 2nd, 2011 by Stu

The Range Classic is one of the few vehicles on the road that looks utterly gorgeous underneath a blanket of muck, mud and snow. If you have the sneaking suspicion that you’ve seen this particular example before, it’s because you have. It belongs to Ben, one of our trusted Man on the Move sharp shooters. Ben affectionately refers to his steed as Ralph and has racked up more than 300K miles on it since new in the early part of ’89. Pretty damn impressive when you consider how great this rig is looking after all these years. Even better, Ben tells us it drives as good as it looks and is more than capable of plowing through any blizzard that mother nature has to offer.

We loved admiring Ralph’s rugged looks on the streets of NYC, but seeing it in the snowy, sun-drentched countryside is even better. It’s akin to the difference between spotting a cheetah at the zoo versus seeing one while on Safari.

Thanks Ben!
