2011 NY Motorcycle Show – Jacob Javits Convention Center, NYC

While they may not be the stereotypical maniacs pictured in old movies, bikers are definitely a charismatic bunch. So while we really enjoyed scouring the show floor for the tasty array of shots you see below, we found an insane level of pleasure chronicling the many biker groups representing proudly with their own brand of bitchin leather vests. In fact, we made an entire gallery out of it.

You’ve got to see this to believe it.

Other sites worth seeing included BMW’s all-new, thoroughly road worthy K1600 line, the brand’s newest six-cylinder flagship designed to take Honda’s Goldwing on in a head to head battle for long distance cruising rights. It’s insanely advanced to say the least, as evidenced by the in dash navigation lighting up the drivers line of sight. There was also a fair amount of custom metal taking up floor space thanks to Progressive’s Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show, where professional and amateur custom builders of choppers, cruisers and sportbikes enter their bikes into the competition and judge each other’s work. Our favorite was easily the chromed out bobber you see just below these words. Simply stunning.
