Sir Mix-A-Lot has nothing on this rump. The special edition Boxster, code name Spyder, is the latest rendition of the familiar mid engine ragtop from Stuttgart. The $61,200 Spyder is the subject of a rather flattering rear end treatment that pays homage to the hump-backed 550 Spyder popularized by none other than Mr. Cool himself, James Dean. Aside from the double bubble butt and rather primitive manual top, the Spyder is up 10 hp and down 176 pounds from sibling Boxster S (thanks largely to the removal of the automatic folding top). It also features a lower ride height and more aggressive suspension set up.

i dunno….. i just can’t get excited abut this thing…… porsche needs to re-think their design direction. panamera anyone ? i didn’t think so.

for the record, i dig this car and the panamera. have you seen it in person yet? it grows on you.
Completely agree with Archibald.
i didn’t like the panamera until i saw it in person. i like it but still can’t pronounce it
i saw another panamera today…….. i took an open-monded look at it and gave it it an honest chance…… all i can say is FAIL !
dude the panamera is ugly.. anyone who looks at that back and doesnt think so is lying to themselves.
“anyone who looks at that back and doesnt think so is lying to themselves.”
its kind of like living in denial that a girlfriend is better looking than she actually is…… except i’m assuming the girl friend doesn’t cost $100k
