This Malaga Red BMW 2002, which appears to be pre-1974, looks good parked all by its lonesome on NW 8th & Everett in Portland. As per usual, the rain adds a nice touch.

This is one sweet 2002. What a great design…
simple, elegant, and totally functional with perfect
proportions. Had a chance to buy new back in ’72
and hesitated. Never hesitate.
I agree. Very elegant and straight to the point. Two other cars come to my mind immediately: the 1970s Alfa Romeo GTV and also a bit older Lancia Fulvia.
Switch out the lights for lamp assemblies, and you would have a fresh-looking car on your hands in the timeless 2002!!!
