It’s not often we find ourselves unable to identify a vehicle. And as much as it hurts our car guy pride to admit it, we have no flippin clue what this cute little coupe is. The fussy styling cues, particularly the front and rear lights, feel pre WWII Japanese. Also notice where the hinges are positioned in the rear – that could mean there is a rumble seat below. The roof also appears to be of the clamp-on variety. Care to take a stab at the make and model? Test your car spotting skills after the jump…

Crosley?
Nissan Figaro – what do I win?
Defo a Nissan Figaro. Japanese only but loads got imported to the UK, probably not many in the US as they’re all RHD (and have a tiny engine!)
Paul – I’ve seen a few in California, but they’re Canadian registered cars.
Hey Mike – nice work my friend – if you send me a note (stu@manonthemove.com) with your size and address, we will get a cool Man on the Move t shirt over to you.
Thanks for tuning in everyone
This is Nissan Figaro. one of the famous Nissan key cars- Figaro-Pao- S Cargo.
They were at production in 91-92′.
I live in Vancouver, BC and there are tons of Figaros, relatively. All exactly like this one. I don’t know if they import them in any other colour. They’re all from the early 90′s.
A couple of years ago BC started allowing the import of more RHD cars and now there are these little guys and Mitsubishi Delicas where ever you go.
http://www.japanoid.com is the local vancouver importer of everything japanese.
It looks like a Nissan “Figaro”.
Ian.
it looks so vintage – its amazing they were able to capture such a look inside of a relatively modern car (91-92) – i wish we saw more of that today!
