Hurricane Bill made things interesting for beach-goers in NY/NJ this past weekend. Many NYC-area beaches were even closed due to the rough waters and strong current left in Bill’s wake. But thrill-seeking surfers were totally stoked by the out-of-this-world surf report and nearly 2,000 of themĀ ascendedĀ on the Montauk beaches yesterday as waves reached peaks not seen in nearly 17 years. It looks like the owner of this white FJ40 decided to play it safe by racking the boards and spending the afternoon in town.
We digg the Hawaii-themed beach cruiser and certainly can’t knock the owner for wanting to remain vertical and out of traction.

Actually I did’nt spend the day in town , I spent many hours surfing the best swell to hit the east coast in years !
As a matter of fact that blue board on my racks is now in two pieces thanks to a 12 foot macker that crushed it in half !
So now traction for this Surf Dude but it aint for the lack of trying
Peace
Tom
classic, great shot.
hey Tom – good to hear you rocked it on Sunday. You’re an animal! Sucks about your board but it’s worth it right?
Thanks for tuning in!
Love the chubby hula girl.
Sweet ride…
