The diminutive fortwo hit US shores with a bang last year. Sales during the micro brand’s inaugural year exceeded 24,000 units, not bad considering the multi-decade market low we are currently experiencing. To keep the momentum going, Smart hooked up with well-known German tuning house Brabus to squeeze a little more fun to drive attitude out of the little Fortwo. The mini-but-macho result is the Smart Fortwo Brabus, which will be limited to 1,500 units. It features performance and appearance enhancements like a lowered ride height (10 mm), stiffer suspension, sportier exhaust tuning, unique alloy wheels (15-in. front and 17-in. rear) and brushed aluminum gas/break pedals. The painfully slow and whiplash-indushing automated transmission gets a supossed ugrade on the Brabus edition as well. Despite the European version with 98 HP, Americans must make due with the carry over 70 HP powerplant. Now you can beat non Brabus Fortwos to parking spaces.

How much do one of these go for?
the coupe starts just under $18k and the cabrio is just under $21k
Good find. Good post. It looks good so folks have plenty of time to take it in whilst it s l o w l y drives on by……
The vehicle looks great. I think it’s a bit small for a family to ride. It is nice that they have more than one photo of the vehicle.
I think this car is too small for my whole family. Though there might be an advantage when it comes to parking space, I think the low horsepower and unsexiness of the car would eventually hurt its sales.
