This may not be the first Defender we have spotted in Manhattan, but it is certainly one of the more pristine. With its long wheelbase and towering stance, this super clean 110 looks about ready to devour the mid size Mercedes SUV parked behind it. We dig the tasteful green hue and classy use of diamond plating that runs across the lower portion of each body side. License plates suggest that the owner hails from New York, but the black dog adorning the rear tells us that Martha’s Vineyard is a favorite weekend destination.

What a beauty. Very rare indeed.

Actually- that truck is illegal. I REALLY hope he never gets into a car accident or he is in serious ****. The only 110 allowed in the US is the 1993 NAS LHD Defender 110, and they are white. This is not a respray, its been illegally imported. Just hope hes not caught. Don’t believe me? Call the DOT- I have, because I tried to legally import one. There is another way- but I can tell from the details on this one- its entirely illegal.. unless its on a temporary permit to be in the US..
Your statement is total rubbish. You can import any 25 year old vehicle into the USA totally legally. You can buy them in varing condition from rusty originals to rebuilt show room condition, it all depends on budget, imported 110′s vary in price form $6000 to $100,000+
my dream vehicle
Anyone know how I can legally import a defender 110. But I want a brand new 2010 model, not one that is 25 years old?
