On this gloomy, rain soaked hump day we bring you sunshine and this special edition Wrangler bearing a tropical name. The Islanders were not terribly different than their base model brethren, save for the vibrant “Sunset” Islander graphics and body colored wheel flares. And as the owner of this rough & tumble diamond plated example will likely tell you, there is nothing better than cruising roofless and topless on a beautiful summer day (the torque-happy inline 6 doesn’t hurt either) We hope this Islander has a fixed roof or covered parking space somewhere though because today’s torrential downpour would make mincemeat out of the fitted tarp.
