We spotted not one but two Dodge Chargers on Lafayette street, parked outside of the Meineke Car Care center. Apparently the grease monkeys over there also deal in rare and desirable classics – so you can repair a muffler and buy a new vintage car all in the same visit. It’s easy to get lost in all that muscle and we found ourselves wishing that Steve McQueen would J-slide into the parking lot, guns blazing, in a Deep Emerald Green fastback. He didn’t end up showing but the gen 1 1966 383 (white) and gen 3 1974 318 (green) managed to keep our attention. The white one is for sale ($10,500) in case you’re interested.
