Ducati SportClassic SPORT 1000 S – West 16th Street, NYC

May 14th, 2009 by Ian

ducati-sport-1000-sFor the retro-inspired SportClassic series, Ducati dug into the archives to create a line of bikes reminiscent of their iconic 1970′s cafe-racer models.  The end result is a harmonious mix of old and new.  But don’t be fooled by all the vintage sheet metal – this bike is no Sunday cruiser and boasts 92 horsepower in a package that weighs just under 400 pounds. This stylish gent opted to remove the front fairing, adding his own sprezzatura!

  • I think he purchased those blue kicks at Scoop, I saw them in the window.

Great site, keep it coming gents.

I could use a gorgeous, forrest green Maybach photo. With a hot, blonde MILF walking out, but now I’m being picky.

  • I think that’s my neighbor! No joke, that same bike was sitting in front of his apartment this morning. I haven’t seen it before today. Small world.

  • wow that is amazing. small world indeed. tell him to check out the post:)

  • pity ducati are going to stop making these :(

  • Nice Sport Classic, just one remark: He didn’t remove the fairing this bike is the naked sport classic. The Sport Classic 1000S comes with a retro fairing and will kill your back if driven in traffic… On open roads it’s a fantastic ride…
