This circa 1960 Chevy Apache is sporting a great rust patina, handcrafted by the elements of time. This natural, unrestored aesthetic almost enhances the vintage skin’s design.
I have the exact same truck…Same color, short bed step side and everything. Minus the grill gaurd. My grandpa is the original owner and bought it new locally 50 years ago at the age of 19. I recently started working on it and im in the process of digging into the strait 6. I sandblasted some early 50’s steel wheels and painted them bright red and wrapped them in goodyears. Im gonna go with 49′ dog dish hub caps and paint the truck white with red trim. Anyone with production #s on these trucks please shoot me a link. Pictures welcome as well!
hey Jerad – thanks for your comment – this is a cool old truck to be certain – be sure to get in touch with us when you have restoration pics to share.
